Our goal is to improve the community of the Guatemalan Barrio through housing. Simple housing for families in need are provided to the selected area needing help. By 2020 we hope to have helped over 100 families within at least 6 communities.
We do this by scoping the area in need, coming up with blueprints for each house and gathering volunteers for that month's projects. We hold fundraisers, volunteer orientations and accept donations that go to the building of the houses and transportation and feeding of our volunteers.
In the execution stage, we drive all of our volunteers down to the area in need and set up camp. Our goal is to build two houses a month and provide overall love and care to the community and those who live in it. Our volunteers do all the work with a hired supervisor keeping everyone safe and on track.
